In Type 2, we have to create a poster based on an artist exhibition. I chose to mine on the master of Line...Keith Haring. Dude is probably the most talented artist I have ever seen. I recommend watching anything related to this man. The stuff he does with the simple line stroke is nothing short of amazing.
I started off with some comprehensive thumbnails and then explored how the composition would look like with type. I used Futura for everything with the exception of the question mark of the Dogman's hand. That was Helvetica. With a few brush strokes in Photoshop, I was able to give it a distressed feeling. I think I'm pretty much done with this. I still got a few days until the assignment is due so I may revisit it. Gonna print and see how it comes out.
