This is my first stab at using After Effects. I'm not too proud of this work but the point of this blog is to document my growth. For what it's worth, here is my rendition of Full Metal Jacket's title sequence. Yeah I know the track has that Hip Hop flavor but I had to use it. The song is called "Hindsight" by DJ Shadow. A classic from his second album: Pre-emptive Strike. The main sample Shadow used is lifted straight from the movie Platoon...another Vietnam War movie classic.
